Tickets are on sale for Saturday’s Jeans and Jewels Trunk Sale in the Toledo Museum of Art’s Glass Pavilion with a free event open to the public the next day.
Those who want to attend Saturday’s ticketed portion — $150 for museum members and $200 for nonmembers — are encouraged to wear their favorite jeans and then add some bling to their ensemble. It is from 7 to 11 p.m. and will feature food, an open bar and the chance to purchase men’s and women’s jewelry from renowned artisans. There will also be glassblowing demonstrations and entertainment.
The free portion of Jeans and Jewels Trunk Show will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Glass Pavilion with jewelry artisans showcasing their wares, hands-on art activities and free glassblowing demonstrations. Specialty beverages, hot chocolate, and jewelry-themed edibles will also be available for purchase.
