ANN ARBOR — No one on Michigan’s current roster has ever played at Camp Randall Stadium.

The Wolverines haven’t played at Wisconsin since 2009, a 45-24 victory for the Badgers. The hostile environment that awaits is not deterring any players from being excited.

In the immediate aftermath of last week’s win at Maryland, running back Chris Evans turned his attention to the “Jump Around” tradition, commenting on how much he looked forward to participating.

Wide receiver Grant Perry heard all about the madness from a few Wisconsin players when he visited the home of offensive lineman Ben Bredeson.

“I’m excited for it,” Perry said.

The press box is famous for shaking when the song is played in between the third and fourth quarters. It’s a tradition that has become one of the most recognizable images in all of college football.

“I heard it’s one of the best environments in the country,” center Patrick Kugler said. “I’ve never played there, so I was excited when we found out we were playing at Wisconsin. You want to play at every stadium, and I haven’t had the opportunity to do that in the Big Ten unfortunately.”

Said Bredeson, one of two Wisconsin natives on the team, “It’s a fun place to be, but I like it here more.”
