COLUMBUS — Ohio State wide receiver Parris Campbell and defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones are coming back for their senior seasons, the two announced Thursday.
Campbell, who was second on the team with 40 catches in 2017, announced in a Twitter video that he would return to Ohio State in 2018. The redshirt junior from Akron also is a standout kick returner.
With Campbell’s announcement, Ohio State will have eight of 11 starters returning on offense next season.

Later Thursday, Jones announced his plans to return, also doing so on Twitter.
My life long dream is to play in the NFL. In order to best achieve this goal, I have decided to forgo my draft eligibility and remain in school. OSU is providing me with a strong and solid foundation which will continue to make achieving my career possible. Go Bucks!— Dre'Mont Jones (@TheOfficial_80) January 11, 2018
Jones played in 12 games in 2017, making 20 tackles, five for loss, with a sack. The Cleveland native has made 23 career starts.
So far, three Ohio State players have departed early for the NFL draft, but all on defense. Cornerback Denzel Ward, defensive end Sam Hubbard, and linebacker Jerome Baker all have indicated that they will enter the draft.
Players who have been out of high school for three seasons have until Jan. 15 to file paperwork for the NFL draft.
Also Thursday, reserve offensive tackle Kevin Feder announced his intention to transfer out of the OSU program after graduating this spring. The 6-foot-9 redshirt sophomore from Ramsey, N.J., battled injuries and was not on the depth chart for the Cotton Bowl.
