Pennsylvania woman charged in Fulton County traffic stop
11/13/2017WAUSEON — Troopers recently seized $8,000 worth of drugs and paraphernalia during a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike in Fulton County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
On Nov. 8, troopers stopped a vehicle, driven by Victoria Moore, 24, of Clearfield, Pa., for a speed violation on the turnpike. The exact location of the stop was not reported.
A Fulton County Sheriff’s Office drug-sniffing dog alerted to the vehicle. A search revealed 231 grams of marijuana edibles and marijuana, 24 ounces of liquid THC, and 5 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle, troopers said.
The value of the drug-related items was approximately $8,000, according to the state patrol.
Ms. Moore is charged with possession of marijuana and methamphetamine, both fifth-degree felonies. Moore was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
She appeared Monday before a Fulton County Western District Court judge, but her case was bound over to the Fulton County Common Pleas Court for further proceedings, according to court records.
