Adrian police investigating separate deaths

ADRIAN — Adrian police are investigating the deaths of two men who were believed to have been at a social gathering together.

The Adrian police and fire departments were dispatched Wednesday to separate medical emergencies within two hours.

At about 5:45 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of North Main Street for a possible overdose.

They found a 25-year-old Adrian man deceased, police said.

Shortly after 7 a.m., police were called to a residence in the 300 block of South McKenzie Street for an unknown medical emergency, according to police.

A 30-year-old Adrian man was found deceased, police reported.

The cause of the deaths is unknown, pending toxicology. Evidence indicates both men were together in a social setting the previous night, police said.

Anyone with additional information about the incident should call Detective Greg Lanford at 517-264-4851.
