INDIANAPOLIS — The Walleye got goals from four different players and never trailed during a 4-1 victory against the Indy Fuel on Tuesday night.

The Walleye took 4 minutes, 12 seconds to score the game’s first goal, which was also Mike Borkowski’s fifth this season. Toledo made it 2-0 at the 10:26 mark in the second period when Charlie O’Connor scored his second goal of the season.

Indy attempted to come back in the third period. Radovan Bondra’s first goal this season cut the deficit to 2-1 with 17:07 to play.

Toledo countered with two more goals, though, to pull away. First came Christian Hilbrich’s fifth goal this season, and Austen Brassard soon followed with his first, which made it 4-1 with 5:18 to play.

Walleye goalie Matej Machovsky made 29 saves to earn the victory.

Indy goalie Collin Delia finished with 35 saves.
