Part of Bancroft Street to be closed for 2 days
1/12/2018Building demolition will close part of Bancroft Street for about two days, followed by several weeks of lane closings, the city transportation division said.
Starting Friday morning, Bancroft will be closed between Walnut and Cherry streets. It’s scheduled to reopen by late Saturday, but lane closings will be required for about three weeks starting Monday, officials said.
No detour route was announced. Nearby alternatives include Page Street and Greenbelt Parkway.
