MONROE — A Monroe man pleaded guilty Friday to concealing the death of an individual after his girlfriend was found deceased last year in their apartment.

David M. Hall, 49, is to be sentenced July 5 by Monroe County Circuit Court Judge Daniel White.

Hall was accused of failing to report to police that Kandace Simmons, 56, had died. No foul play was suspected, but investigators said she may have been deceased for a month before her remains were discovered Dec. 31 after the landlord asked police to do a well-being check.
