FINDLAY — Hancock County authorities are investigating a 3-month-old baby boy’s death.

Findlay police responded to a residence in the 700 block of Carnahan Avenue Thursday about 2:20 p.m. after a relative called 911 to report a baby not breathing, according to a police statement.

They found Surreno Killion unresponsive, and life-saving efforts by firefighters and medical crews were unsuccessful, with the boy pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m., police said.

Findlay Police Lt. Robert Ring said the cause of death was unclear, but there was no visible trauma. An autopsy was scheduled to be performed Friday at the Lucas County Coroner’s Office, with results not to be released until next week.
