Lunch at United Way will kick off Minority Health Month

The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department will honor those playing a role in the effort to improve the county’s infant mortality rate at a lunch Wednesday.
The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department will honor those playing a role in the effort to improve the county’s infant mortality rate at a lunch Wednesday.

The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department will host a Minority Health Month kick-off event Wednesday with a pastors’ appreciation luncheon to honor work in the effort to improve the county’s infant mortality rate and community health.

The lunch is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the United Way of Greater Toledo, 424 Jackson St.
