GROVER HILL, Ohio — State Auditor Dave Yost on Thursday placed the Paulding County village of Grover Hill in fiscal emergency after an audit found a deficit and “treasury deficiencies.”
The village’s Sewer Operating Fund showed a deficit of about $100,000 in 2016 and 2017. Its treasury balance also had deficits of more than $100,000 in 2016 and 2017.
In a fiscal emergency, a public entity’s finances are under the oversight of a planning and supervision commission.
