Findlay 84, Lima Senior 83

FINDLAY — Ryan Roth hit seven early 3-pointers, then finally won it in triple overtime.

Roth hit a 3 with one second left in the final overtime as the Trojans outlasted Lima Senior 84-83 in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball classic Friday night.

Findlay (13-8, 7-6 TRAC) sprinted to a 31-11 lead after one quarter, with Roth doing most of the damage, knocking down seven 3-pointers and scoring 22 points. He finished with 30 points.

Lima Senior (11-10, 6-7) rallied after halftime, though, outscoring the Trojans 48-24 and sending it to overtime.

Ryan Nunn added 29 points for Findlay. Isaac Schumm and Jacob Logsdon both finished with 10.

B.J. Miller led the Spartans with 34 points. Jaleel King added 19 points and Jermaine Daniel 15.

Whitmer 49, Fremont Ross 28

FREMONT — Eddie Colbert finished with 19 points and Kavon Butler 11 as Whitmer (15-5, 9-3 TRAC) cruised.

Bryce Root led the Little Giants (6-13, 2-11) with nine points.

Central Catholic 62, Clay 49

At Clay, the Fighting Irish (7-11, 3-8 TRAC) were led by Dominuque Cole with 16 points, Cameron Awls with 14, and Jonzell Norrils with 11.

For the Eagles (6-15, 1-12), Reese Wamer had 17 and Trey Reddick 10.

Perrysburg 49, Napoleon 34

NAPOLEON — Zach Pohlman scored 12 points, Jackson Sizemore added 11, and Seth Morgan 10 for the visiting Yellow Jackets (9-11, 6-7) in Northern Lakes League play.

Landon Willeman led Napoleon (2-18, 0-12) with 12 points.

Bowling Green 52, Springfield 47

BOWLING GREEN — Isaac Elsasser led the way with 23 points as the host Bobcats (6-13, 6-7 NLL) won. Bryce Hoehner scored 15 points, and Kaiden Robinson added 12.

Tyler Dave had 18 points for the Blue Devils (6-14, 5-7). Denzel Prince had 11 points and Cameron Arce 10.

Southview 69, Maumee 38

Tehree Horn scored 24 points and Zech Miller added 18 to drive visiting Southview (19-1, 12-0 NLL). The Cougars shut out Maumee in the third quarter.

Ben Pacer had 19 points for the Panthers (4-15, 2-10).

Genoa 46, Elmwood 35

BLOOMDALE — Jake Plantz accounted for half of his team’s scoring as he had 23 points for the visiting Comets (18-3, 13-0 Northern Buckeye Conference). Andrew Bench scored 12 points for Genoa.

Matthew Cline led Elmwood (7-12, 3-9) with 14 points.

Eastwood 64, Lake 45

PEMBERVILLE — Cade Boos hit five 3-pointers and finished with 18 points as the Eagles (13-6, 9-3 NBC) prevailed. Cory Coffman scored 15 points, and Tyler Haas finished with 13 points.

Ahmad Smith had 18 points to lead the Flyers (6-15, 3-10).

Woodmore 83, Fostoria 53

FOSTORIA — Drew Burner finished with 22 points, Mitchell Miller 14, and Kevin Paul 12 for Woodmore (16-5, 8-5 NBC).

Trae Anderson and Aneas Cousin both scored 12 points for Fostoria (3-15, 1-10). Maalik Tucker added 11.

Cardinal Stritch 63, Gibsonburg 43

Joey Holifield scored 22 points, Jordan Burton 17, and Little Anderson 14 as the Cardinals (19-1, 13-0) won at home in Toledo Area Athletic Conference play.

Addison Weaver scored 18 to lead Gibsonburg (5-13, 2-9). Josh Ernsthausen added 15.

Toledo Christian 67, Northwood 38

Owen Gast scored 12 points and Trevor Wensink 10 as the Eagles (16-4, 10-3 TAAC) won at home.

Jay Moten led Northwood (2-19, 1-12) with 11 points.

Danbury 50, Fremont St. Joseph 48

LAKESIDE — Saylor Evans and Brad Pruitt both scored 11 points as the Lakers (5-14) won at home.

Chris Morrisette led the Streaks (9-11) with 13 points. Tad Foster and Spencer Harrison both added 11.

Wauseon 44, Evergreen 34

WAUSEON — In a battle between the top two teams in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League, Levi Seiler led the way with 15 points to guide the Indians (20-0, 6-0 NWOAL).

Bryce Hudik scored eight for Evergreen (11-9, 5-1).

Bryan 58, Patrick Henry 36

BRYAN — Peyton Lamberson scored 14 points, Zhane Cupp and Conner Lemons both added 11, and the Golden Bears (9-10, 3-3 NWOAL) won at home.

Xavier Wensink led the Patriots (8-12, 2-4) with 11 points.

Archbold 90, Delta 37

ARCHBOLD — Bryce Williams had 15 points to lead the Blue Streaks (16-3, 5-1 NWOAL). Forcing Delta into 23 turnovers, they led 57-18 at the half. 

Bowen Green led the Panthers (6-13, 2-4) with a game-high 19 points.

Oak Harbor 67, Port Clinton 47

PORT CLINTON — Jac Alexander and Alex Gezo each scored 18 points to lead the visiting Rockets (16-4, 8-3) to a Sandusky Bay Conference victory. Clay Schulte added 12 points for Oak Harbor.

Max Rumberger scored a game-high 19 points for the Redskins (2-17, 1-10).

Fayette 48, Stryker 47

FAYETTE — Tanner Lemley hit the game-winning shot at the basket with two seconds left, lifting the Eagles to victory in Buckeye Border Conference action.

Lemley finished with 13 points for Fayette (12-8, 6-4 BBC). Clayton Pheils added 12 and Trey Keefer 11.

Luke Holsopple led Stryker (14-6, 9-2) with 18 points.

Montpelier 57, Edon 56

EDON — Kolden Uribes scored 23 points as the visiting Locomotives (9-10, 6-5 BBC) narrowly won. Jacob Bailey had 15 points for Montpelier, and Evan Friend added 10.

Austin Kiess scored 22 points for Edon (2-18, 1-10), and Zach Siebenaler had 12 points.

Whiteford 82, Sand Creek 60

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Thomas Eitniear finished with 28 points, Jarred Fink and Cameron Iott both added 14, and Hunter Lake had 11 for host Whiteford (13-2).

Brian Stricklin led Sand Creek (9-6) with 20 points. Noah Benge added 14 and Brian Stricklin 10.

TEMPERANCE — Ella Stemmer scored 15 points and Nicole Sweetland added 12 points to guide Saline (9-8, 3-4) to Southeastern Conference Red Division victory.

Caitlin Stieber led the Kicking Mules (12-5, 3-4) with a game-high 20 points.
