The Toledo Police Department raised $97,100 on Saturday at an abandoned and forfeited motor vehicle auction.

Of that, $27,400 goes to the Law Enforcement Trust Fund, while the rest goes to the city’s general fund. Eighty-five vehicles were auctioned at the impound lot at 198 Dura Ave., according to the department.

The highest bid was $11,000 for a tow truck, and the lowest was $200 for a motorcycle. The next auction likely will be in June.
